ABOUT ME

I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Education focusing in Math. Greatest experience where I made lots of memories and friends.

I've been teaching mathematics for over six years. Teaching sixth grade for four years with spending my last few years teaching eighth grade mathematics. My eighth graders have been my favorite group to work, the students are a lot of fun and I enjoy making connections with them.

Besides being a teacher I also coach, which means I am a huge advocate for my student athletes. Coaching volleyball at both the middle and high school level for over eight years. This winter I was given the opportunity to coach middle school girls basketball, it was a great experience.

After school I tutor students who need extra help in their studies and

support my students in their after-school activities and sports by

showing up and cheering them on.

The biggest thing you should know is that I work hard to make sure

the students learn, have fun, and leave the classroom with new              knowledge whether in their academics or a life skill.

When I am not grading papers, creating fun lesson, or perusing Pinterest I like to relax with a good book. I encourage reading whenever possible, it is an awesome way to expand a students imagination.

I like to think I am a upbeat, fun, likes to laugh a lot person and teacher. I want my classroom to be a home away from home place where yes we are learning but lots of fun is involved as well. You can see that when you look around my classroom, lots of different seating and space for students to collaborate with each other.
